Modern world provides most of things fulfilling hunger and desire. Any kind of entertainment, such as movies, series, music, and various hobbies are consumed to entertain the l̶o̶n̶e̶l̶y̶ hungry soul. Various kind of foods from sweet, savory or even taste that will surprise the taste-bud. All are there ready to pamper the hunger. Blatantly say, even sex is provided. Easy to get, transactionally or not. Good career and well paid job, desire just one click-away to be fulfilled.
With all the easiness to fulfill desire, it still doesn’t feel fulfilling. There is a hole, the empty one. It won’t get full with the fulfilling desire. It keeps hunger for “why(s)” and meaning.
Mungkin, jawaban pencarian itu bukan pada hal-hal di luar diri. Mencoba mencari ke dalam diri sendiri. Mengenal diri sebenarnya, bukan diri yang tertutup ego dan hasrat. Diri yang sejati.
